Sonny Burke
Collection
Historic American
Sheet Music (which also appears in different form as part of the American
Memory Project)
Both of the finding aids have modifications to enhance display (e.g., labels) or retrieval of specialized information.
Sonny Burke
In the Sonny Burke finding aid, the first part of the document follows the standard format but the container list, which gives information about each title within the container, contains special modifications for music in the form of "origination labels". The labels provide some degree of specific search capability, since the word "composer," or "arranger" is within 2-3 words of the name.

1750 Arch Tape
Collection
This example was selected because it includes sound recordings. Although it includes a variety of visual and sound resources, the actual SGML tags of the finding aid closely correspond to the standard implementation of EAD. The other finding aids seem to follow the standard manuscript traditions as well.
